Sweet Candy Perfumes: How And Where To Wear Them
July 20th, 2011
Perfume is a fragrant mixture of essential oils and fixatives, solvents, and aroma compounds that when combined give off this lovely aroma (or is supposed to anyway) and perfume is actually the most concentrated in fragrance oils, it is typically aged for about one year, and when applied to your body should last for 6 hours or more.
Sweet Candy Perfume have a very sweet top-notes (as the name suggests) and should not be used so liberally. If overdone, it can carry a rather strong, overpowering, almost sickly-sweet smell. To that end, when you apply perfume it is important that you apply it to your pulse points only. You pulse points are the warmest spots on your body (wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat, the bend of the elbows, and your chest). Also, keep in mind that scent rises up so another ideal place would be between your thighs or in the hollow of your knees. Please note that rubbing the perfume is not advisable because it “breaks” the notes.
The most optimum time to apply perfume is right after a shower or bath because your pores are open and can more easily absorb the scent. Avoid applying perfume to your clothing as the oil may cause stains.
