Owner and creator, Michelle, likes just about anything relating to nature: water, wind, rain, sunshine, bees and flowers.  "My dad passed along his passion and respect for nature", Michelle says.  Her dad was an amateur beekeeper and planted a vegetable garden every summer.  "At one time we had chickens and dwarf bunny rabbits along with our two cats and beehives", says Michelle.  "My dad was very interested in the outdoors.  I remember him being outside in his free time...chopping wood, watering his vegetable garden and generally being an all-round handy dandy man around our property.  I think I got my passion for the plant world from him".

A sign that she was destined to explore the world of horticulture occured in college when her best friend noticed her reading the book "The Sex Life of Flowers"!  "I'm totally into the process of pollination...bees and other animals and insects are vital to our very existence.  Without them, we just wouldn't be here at all.  Fragrance and flowers are interconnected, so it is pretty natural for me to explore fragra-culture because of my ADDICTION to ornamental plants and gardening!"
