Soft, Natural Scents For Going To The Beach
July 11th, 2011
When planning a trip to the beach, there are many individuals who consider the different fragrances and scents which should be used for the occassion. For such a trip, going to the beach, individuals should consider a softer scent, and things which are more natural in scent, due to the outdoor environment they are at, the surrounding public (other beach goers), and the natural scents of the ocean and sand don’t really blend too well with strong smelling perfumes and colognes.
Not all individuals feel it is necessary to wear a perfume or cologne when going to the beach, however, for those that do wear it, the choice should be something light and breezy. Individuals should consider the use of a natural scent, rather than one that is infused with other chemicals and can seem too strong. The beach is a public place, where hundreds (if not thousands) of people will be around you, depending on the beach you are visiting and the time of year; therefore, wearing a natural scent will not offend others in the public, yet will be strong enough to mask any odors you are wishing to cover up.
Individuals should never wear strong body mists or sprays, with scents which are very sweet (like raspberry, or fruit infused sprays), these can be so strong, and when mixed with sweat, and other natural elements from the beach (ocean, sand, the breeze, etc) it can make those body sprays extremely strong, and can turn out to be bothersome to others in the area.
When wearing a perfume or cologne to the beach, you should not only consider your nose, but that of every other beach goer that day. If you decide to wear a scent to the beach, make sure to keep it light and something natural, not infused scents.
